Invitation to Victoria’s ePlan 2025 Road Map Workshop

As part of the ongoing engagement with the surveying industry on ePlan in Victoria, Land Use Victoria (LUV) in collaboration with the Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration (CSDILA) at The University of Melbourne, will be proudly providing an ePlan Workshop on current and future developments in Victoria. The workshop will showcase current practice and research activities, as well as discuss future developments in 2D and 3D, and outline Victoria’s ePlan roadmap to 2025.
Speakers will include Mark Briffa, Manager Electronic Subdivisions Unit, Land Use Victoria, DELWP; Professor Abbas Rajabifard, Director of CSDILA, The University of Melbourne; Dr Hamed Olfat, ePlan Coordinator; Craig Sandy, Surveyor General, Land Use Victoria, DELWP; Tom Champion, Associate Director, Reeds Consulting. In addition, a selected surveying firm will present their views of ePlan from a surveying industry’s perspective. The workshop will discuss the outcomes from a recent case study undertaken by the Victorian ePlan Team on behalf of Reeds Consulting of a multi-lot complex plan of subdivision.
The workshop, jointly sponsored by LUV and CSDILA is being held on 24 September 2018 from 3pm to 5pm followed by networking, with participants of the Victorian Surveying Industry admitted at no cost.
Attendance to the workshop will attract 2 cadastral FPET points.
